Rock Road Library is to have a new community room.

Cambridge City Council has just approved £20,000 to convert the existing children’s library into a community room which will be available for hire to local groups and residents for meetings and community activities. It will be managed by the Friends of Rock Road Library.

The money will also pay for a doorway to the library garden, meaning it will be seen from the interior, and be easier to use.
