There have been a lot of questions about bin collections over the past month. Here is some news:

The City Council is announcing that green bin/brown bag waste collection will resume from 4th May. They are trying for both of the two expected dates in May, but are only guaranteeing one of them because social distancing within their crews is making the operaion less efficient. Online from tonight we can check which is our guaranteed May collection date; on the other date in May, we may also be lucky, but we may have to take the bin in again uncollected if they don’t make it!
