Remember the Uni 4 bus that used to go down Hills Road between the hospital and university sites? It used to go from the Biomedical Campus past the Perse, Homerton and Hills Rd VI Form College. Its main purpose was for the University of Cambridge staff and students, but anybody could use it.

The service was retendered in 2016 and changed its route to use the Guided Busway between the Biomedical Campus and the railway station. This made it useful for far fewer Queen Edith’s residents.

Following a survey last year, the University has come up with eight for change, some of which would include Hills Road, some the Biomedical Campus and some the Babraham and Trumpington Park & Ride sites.
