South Area meetings

The Liberal Democrat City Council has divided Cambridge into four areas so local matters can be discussed and decided locally.  The area meetings decide on smaller planning applicatons and environmental, leisure and community grants as well as other issues. The police come to every other meeting to present their proposals for policing priorities to the public. The meetings are open to everyone – in fact, they are the best attended council meetings.

The South Area covers Queen Edith’s, Cherry Hinton and Trumpington and meetings start at 7.30 p.m., usually on a Monday. Agenda can be found on the City Council’s website at:  http://www.cambridge.gov.uk/public/councillors/MeetingsCard.pdf
